Walking books
The Group has produced three books of walks in the Lewes area.
If members or any other people walk any of our published walks and find
blockages or other problems, please report the problem
using the email link of the Home page.
By the very nature of things, conditions and even location of paths change
due to growth of vegetation, actions by landowners, and
effects of weather. The group cannot be held responsible for the condition or
accessibility of any of the paths in our books.

Favourite walks around Lewes was produced at the end of 2004 to mark our 40th anniversary. Unlike the other two books, this one consists of 10 laminated cards in a folder to make it easy to take a single sheet out on a walk with you. Each sheet has a full description of the walk together with a sketch map. |

The books have a colour cover, full maps of the walks and pictures.
Each walk is carefully described so as to make it easy to follow.
The books can be bought from The Lewes Tourist Information Office in School
Hill and the news stand at Lewes Railway Station.
Each book is priced at £4 and is excellent value for money. Members are able to buy at a discount.
